TAMPA, Fla. -- Doug Martin's start has rekindled memories of his Pro Bowl rookie season in 2012.
Can the Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back top what he did three years ago? He thinks so.
"I believe I can," Martin said Wednesday. "I'm definitely not at my limit. I could definitely get better. I know what I can do to get better. Every day I try to get better."
Each week it becomes more interesting to consider what Martin can accomplish this fall, having rebounded from two injury-plagued seasons. He's tied for second in the NFL in rushing with 405 yards, just 33 fewer than Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte's total.
