TAMPA, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed wide receiver Cecil Shorts III to a one-year deal, but he wasn't the only player who visited One Buc Place for a workout Tuesday.
A league source tells ESPN's Field Yates that former Atlanta Falcons running back Jacquizz Rodgers, who was among the Chicago Bears' final roster cuts, worked out for the team. He did not sign a contract. The Bucs are currently carrying three running backs on the active roster.
Rodgers played under Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter when he was the offensive coordinator in Atlanta from 2012-2014.
