TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Vernon Hargreaves suffered a potentially season-ending shoulder injury Sunday against the New Orleans Saints and will seek a second opinion Wednesday, sources told ESPN.
The 2016 first-round draft pick will visit Dr. James Andrews to determine if he needs to be shut down for the season, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and John Keim.
Against the Saints, Hargreaves forced a fumble by running back Mike Gillislee, which was recovered by safety Justin Evans and returned 34 yards for a touchdown that was the difference-maker in the Bucs' 48-40 win.
