Bucs upset red-hot Chiefs on road

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Bucs finally got a takeaway, finally got a touchdown and beat the hottest team in the NFL, upsetting the Chiefs 19-17 Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.

Safety Chris Conte intercepted a pass in the end zone and returned it to the Bucs 48-yard line, and Jameis Winston continued his third-down magic, throwing a 3-yard touchdown to rookie Alan Cross to put the Bucs up two scores with 6:26 to play.

Kansas City drove 78 yards for a touchdown with 2:27 left to pull within 19-17. Tampa Bay got a key pass to Mike Evans — their 11th third-down conversion of the game — at the two-minute warning to help run out the clock.
