The Buccaneers will be traveling to Cincinnati this weekend for their first game of the preseason to take on the Bengals. If you were expecting to get a glimpse of the new offense being led by quarterback Baker Mayfield, think again.
On Thursday, Tampa Bay head coach Todd Bowles revealed the team will be planning to rest most of their starters in Cincy, with quarterback Kyle Trask getting the start Saturday night.
“Most of the starters will not play,” Bowles said Thursday. “Based off who’s nicked up or not, you may see two or three of them in there for a series or two, but most of them won’t play.
