Bucs to build indoor practice facility, owner says

TAMPA — The days of the Buccaneers trudging out to Tropicana Field or the University of South Florida to escape bad weather and unplayable field conditions at One Buc Place are coming to an end.

One day after heavy rains force the first public workout of the team’s 40th training camp to be moved, co-chairman Bryan Glazer said plans for an indoor practice facility are already being drawn up.

“We actually are working on that right now,’’ Glazer said prior to the Bucs taking the field for what proved to be their first public workout of the Jameis Winston era.
