Bucs Sign LB Adarius Glanton from Panthers

Adarius Glanton is getting a promotion and a new home office, but he won't have to leave the NFC South.

On Monday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Glanton, a second-year linebacker out of Florida Atlantic, off the Carolina Panthers' practice squad. To make room for Glanton on their own 53-man roster, the Buccaneers waived safety Kimario McFadden.

Adding depth to the linebacking corps may have become a more significant priority on Sunday when linebacker Bruce Carter left the game in Indianapolis to be evaluated for a concussion. In addition, starting middle linebacker Kwon Alexander is facing a potential four-game suspension from the NFL.
