TAMPA — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beefed up their running back corps just ahead of the start of the 2016 NFL draft on Monday when they signed former Central Florida back Storm Johnson.
A seventh-round pick of the Jaguars in the 2015 draft, Johnson has played in six NFL games (one start) since his arrival in the league and has rushed 29 times for 86 yards and two touchdowns.
Johnson was waived by the Jaguars prior to the start of the 2015 season and did not play in the league last year.
