The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed running back Kenjon Barner from their practice squad to their active roster on Monday. In addition, the Buccaneers waived wide receiver Jaydon Mickens.
Barner (5-9, 195) has spent the season on Tampa Bay’s practice squad and was elevated to the gameday roster for Weeks 3, 4 and 11. Barner has appeared in 70 career games since entering the league as a sixth-round selection (No. 182 overall) by the Carolina Panthers in the 2013 NFL Draft. He has played for the Panthers (2013, 2018), Philadelphia Eagles (2014-17), New England Patriots (2018) and Atlanta Falcons (2019).
