TAMPA — Bucs S Major Wright was an impact player in Sunday's 42-14 loss to the Titans. Unfortunately, the crushing blow he laid on RB Bishop Sankey drew a 15-yard penalty on the first play of the game.
Wright eventually left the game with an abdominal injury and has not practiced this week, so the Bucs' depth will be tested.
Former Texans S D.J. Swearinger, who was acquired off waivers in May, had five tackles against the Titans. He likely will start for Wright on Sunday at New Orleans.
