TAMPA — Bucs running back Ronald Jones returned to practice Tuesday, but wide receiver Mike Evans missed his second straight session after tweaking a muscle in his left leg.
Jones appeared to hyper-extend his left leg during a first-half kickoff return in Friday’s preseason game against the Miami Dolphins. He played sparingly, logging just seven snaps in the 16-14 win — five on offense and two on special teams — and had two carries for 7 yards.
Coach Bruce Arians said Jones was dealing with a sore and swollen knee.
Jones participated in position drills and special teams Tuesday.
