TAMPA, Fla. -- Like many other Thanksgivings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Ryan Griffin won't get to see his family on Turkey Day. They live in Los Angeles, and like every other team in the NFL, where every game every week is an important one, Griffin and his teammates have to prepare for the Seattle Seahawks.
But he's got something that almost makes up for it: Thanksgiving with his adopted football family -- roommates and teammates Cameron Brate and Adam Humphries.
"It stinks," Griffin said of not getting to see his family.
