TAMPA — With a Twitter handle like @slotmachine11, it’s clear that rookie wide receiver Spencer Schnell has a vision for his role with the Buccaneers.
Schnell, a 24-year-old rookie out of Illinois State, plans to make his living in the middle of the field for Tampa Bay. The undrafted free agent thrived out of the slot with the Redbirds, hauling in 175 catches for more than 2,000 yards in his three years on the field.
Schnell checks in at 5-feet-8 and 178 pounds, the shortest of a dozen wide receivers on Tampa Bay’s training camp roster.
