TAMPA — Jameis Winston wanted nothing more than to put it behind him. Throw it into a closet somewhere and close the door. Bury it. Forever.
Hard to blame him.
After all, everything about his NFL debut on Sunday against the Titans had gone horribly wrong. As he drove home from Raymond James Stadium, though, the Buccaneers rookie quarterback just couldn’t get that 42-14 loss out of his mind.
So, he did what he thought every responsible quarterback should do. He plopped himself down on his couch and reviewed the game tape.
Until 2 in the morning.
