TAMPA — Vincent Jackson has played his last game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this season.
The three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday with a knee injury that has kept him out of the team’s last two games and will keep him out of their season finale Sunday at Carolina.
The move brought an early end to what has been Jackson’s least productive season since 2010, when he played in five games and caught just 14 passes for 248 yards.
Jackson had put together four straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons, but he will finish this year with 33 catches for 543 yards and three touchdowns, his lowest output as a Buccaneer.
