The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will begin training camp without two veteran players who are expected to make significant contributions for the 2016 season. The team placed wide receiver Louis Murphy and guard J.R. Sweezy on the active/physically unable to perform list.
Murphy is recovering from a torn ACL that required surgery and ended his 2015 season in October after six games. Sweezy underwent an undisclosed medical procedure for a back injury that forced him to miss the entire offseason program.
Sweezy's back injury was first reported by Pewter Report and confirmed by ESPN.
