TAMPA — Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson wasn’t surprised to hear that rookie QB Jameis Winston stayed up until 2 a.m. Sunday watching tape of the Bucs’ season-opening 42-14 loss to the Titans.
“The guy’s just a workaholic,” said Jackson, an 11-year veteran and two-time Pro Bowler. “And I know that one probably really ate at him.’’
Winston made a point of watching the tape so soon after the game was over because he wanted to figure out what went wrong during a debut in which he completed 16 of 33 passes for 210 yards, two touchdown and two interceptions.
