TAMPA — Buccaneers DT Gerald McCoy remains limited in practice by a shoulder injury he suffered during the Week 2 victory in New Orleans. The injury isn’t limiting the Bucs’ use of McCoy during games, though.
McCoy has played 320 snaps. That’s more than all but seven other defensive tackles or nose tackles across the league, according to ProFootballFocus.com
“Game-wise, we haven’t had to adjust,’’ defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier said. “We haven’t tailored our defensive scheme knowing that he’s a little banged up. And he’s definitely giving us everything he has. He’s not 100 percent, but you go around the league and with most teams there are a lot of guys that are not 100 percent that are playing.
