TAMPA — Bucs CB Sterling Moore had a pretty rough go of it against the Colts two weeks ago, allowing five of the six balls thrown his way to be completed for 101 yards and a touchdown, according to ProFootballFocus.
He had a bounce-back day in Sunday’s 23-19 victory over the Falcons.
Moore spent most of his day shadowing WR Julio Jones and played an integral part in Jones catching just eight of 17 balls thrown his way for 93 yards and no touchdowns.
“He’s a smart player,’’ Smith said of Moore. “He’s in position, whether it be man, zone, pressing, off.
