TAMPA — Mike Evans was accountable for his performance after Sunday's loss to the Giants, saying his six dropped passes were "unacceptable," but the Bucs' second-year receiver said Wednesday that he feels he has played well this season.
"I'm going to work hard no matter what. If I don't get the outcome I want, I'm just going to keep working," he said. "I've done some good things. My bad days are, you know, 150 (yards), so that's all right. If I can improve on that, then it'll be great."
Evans had eight catches for 152 yards Sunday but had 19 passes targeted for him, and his six drops were the most by an NFL player in any game in 10 years, according to ESPN research.
