Bucs make change at cornerback, go without Seferian-Jenkins, Smith against Texans

HOUSTON - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will throw out a new defensive alighment when they take on the Houston Texans today at NRG Stadium.

For the first time since he came to the team during a late preseason acquistion, cornerback Tim Jennings will start ahead of incumbent Alterraun Verner in the Bucs secondary.

Jennings ascenion to the top of the depth chart appeared to get a boost last week when he was in the lineup for 53 plays during the Bucs 26-19 victory over the Saints. Verner appeared in just 36 plays against New Orleans.

Meanwhie, tight end Luke Stocker will move into the starting lineup on the offensvie side of the ball, where Austin Seferian-Jenkins will miss the game with a shoulder injury.
