TAMPA — On a day the Bucs welcomed military personnel and their families to team headquarters, several former Tampa Bay players attended morning practice.
Hall of Fame DT Warren Sapp, DBs Ronde Barber and Dwight Smith and K Martin Gramatica turned out, and former DT Anthony “Booger’’ McFarland aired his SIRIUS radio broadcast from One Buc Place.
Sapp, who has lost considerable weight from his 300-pound playing frame, is impressed by the work ethic of Tampa Bay’s defensive line.
“It’s always good to have one of our all-time players come back,” head coach Lovie Smith said.
