Bucs executive Robinson to interview for Titans GM job

TAMPA — The Tennessee Titans, in search of a new general manager, appear to have some interest in trading out one former Tampa Bay Buccaneers executive for another.

Jon Robinson, the Bucs director of player personnel, has been given permission to speak to the Titans about their vacant general manager’s position, Robinson confirmed.

The Titans are seeking a replacement for Ruston Webster, a former Bucs college scouting and player personnel director who was fired Tuesday after four seasons on the job in Tennessee.

This will be the second time in as many offseasons Robinson has been tabbed as a candidate for a vacant general manager’s job.
