TAMPA, Fla. -- Despite bringing in several running backs for pre-draft visits, including Dalvin Cook, Joe Mixon, Samaje Perine, D'Onta Foreman and Marlon Mack, and despite a looming suspension for running back Doug Martin, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers might not select a running back at all in the NFL draft.
General manager Jason Licht has been encouraged by what he’s seen from Martin, who has been participating in the Bucs’ offseason program the past 10 days.
“We’ve been happy with the trajectory that he’s on,” Licht said Friday of Martin.
