The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost defensive tackle Vita Vea to a leg injury during last week’s win in Detroit over the Lions. While he escaped major injury with an MCL sprain, there is some uncertainty ahead of Sunday’s home game against the Denver Broncos.
The Bucs have listed Vea as doubtful for Week 3 and head coach Todd Bowles poke on Friday about how they will approach Vea’s availability for Sunday.
“He did some things [in practice],” said Bowles. “He’s gotten a lot better. We’ll see how much better he gets until Sunday.
