TAMPA, Fla. -- This weekend won't be Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter's first trip to San Francisco, nor will it be his second. When his Bucs team plays the San Francisco 49ers, he'll be taking a trip down memory lane, back to his first college coaching gig in 1985, with Division II San Francisco State University.
"The Golden Gators," Koetter said, smiling. "They don't even have football anymore." He was part of a three-person staff with Andy Reid, now the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, and then-head coach Vic Rowen, who spent 29 years with the program.
