TAMPA, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be without two key weapons when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Game 1 of the preseason Thursday.
Charles Sims, who finished last season with 1,090 combined yards catching and receiving, appeared to tweak his ankle during Monday's indoor practice at Tropicana Field, while head coach Dirk Koetter said that veteran wide receiver Vincent Jackson is "a little banged up." Jackson did participate in Monday's practice in shells and shorts, but neither practiced Tuesday.
“We’ll have to see," Koetter said Tuesday following the last open practice before the team leaves.
