The Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn't change their numbers at punter on Tuesday, but they did alter the dynamics at the position. With the waiver claim of former Cleveland Browns punter Spencer Lanning, the Buccaneers brought in significant competition for incumbent Michael Koenen.
Lanning was waived by the Browns after Cleveland's trade for former San Francisco punter Andy Lee. The Buccaneers once again utilized their pole position on the waiver wire to snare Lanning, and to make room for him on the roster the team released first-year punter Andy Wilder. Wilder, who played his college ball at Northern Arizona, had signed with the Buccaneers on March 20.
