The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made another last-minute change to their training camp depth chart, claiming rookie cornerback Daniel Davie off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts. To make room on the 90-man camp roster, the team released first-year cornerback Joel Ross.
Davie signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent on May 3 but was waived on Tuesday. At Nebraska, he appeared in 42 games with 18 starts and contributed 67 tackles, two interceptions and 11 passes defensed. Injuries limited him to just six games in 2015 after a strong junior campaign the previous fall.
