TAMPA - In a move that might presage a trade of backup quarterback Mike Glennon during next week’s NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday signed former Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Dan LeFevour.
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound LeFevour has spent the last four seasons playing in the Canadian Football League but he is no stranger to the NFL, Bucs coach Dirk Koetter or Bucs quarterbacks coach Mike Bajakian.
A sixth-round pick of the Bears in 2010, LeFevour spent time with Chicago and Cincinnati during the 2010 season and with Indianapolis and Jacksonville during the 2011 season.
Though he never appeared in a game after being signed off the Colts practiced squad, it was during the 2011 season that LeFevour worked with Koetter, who was then the Jaguars offensive coordinator.
