TAMPA, Fla. -- A groin injury continues to sideline Tampa Bay Buccaneers left guard Logan Mankins.
Mankins, tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins (shoulder) and linebacker Bruce Carter (thigh) did not participate in practice Wednesday. Mankins had played in 40 consecutive games before missing the Bucs' victory over the Jaguars in Week 5.
Mankins sustained the injury in practice on Oct. 7. Apparently the bye week wasn't enough for the veteran to return to full health.
"If Logan Mankins is out, he has a serious injury," coach Lovie Smith said.
