The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have started contract talks with Demar Dotson, according to Pewter Report. The right tackle missed voluntary workouts earlier this offseason in an effort to force the team to give him a new contract, but has not been absent for any mandatory workouts or training camp and switched agents last month.
According to Pewter Report, the Bucs agree with Dotson that he is underpaid after starting for three consecutive years on one of the cheapest veteran starting tackle contracts in the NFL. Pewter Report claims that Dotson signing a new contract will "likely happen" before the start of the season.
