The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are waiving veteran DE Darryl Tapp on Tuesday and promoting DE Pat O’Connor to their active roster, according to Greg Auman.
Tapp, 33, is a former second-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2006. After four years with the Seahawks, Tapp signed a three-year contract with the Eagles as a free agent in 2010.
Tapp played a year for the Redskins before signing on with the Lions in March of 2014. Detroit later brought him back on a one-year deal before he eventually caught on with the Saints.
