The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have waived kicker Kyle Brindza and receiver Adam Humphries, the team announced. Waiving Brindza was a no-brainer after his disastrous performance the past two weeks, but Humphries' departure is a bit of a surprise. The diminutive slot receiver was a standout in the preseason but has barely gotten on the field during the regular season, looking sloppy when he did.
The Bucs didn't announce any signings to replace the two, but they'll be holding tryouts for a new kicker tomorrow.
