Leave it to the Buccaneers to provide its fan base with some drama and uncertainty around one of its big name players ahead of their season opener Sunday.
The Bucs released their injury report heading into Sunday’s game against Washington. On it, a surprise name appeared after not being on it all week. Second-year defensive tackle Calijah Kancey was listed on the report with a calf injury and was limited during Friday’s practice. He is officially listed as questionable on Sunday. No word on if this is the same calf that he injured last season.
Tampa Bay will already be thin along the defensive line as lineman Logan Hall (foot) has been ruled out for the game.
