There seems to be something afoot at One Buccaneer Place. CFL quarterback Dan LeFevour was signed yesterday, making him the Bucs’ fourth quarterback. Now, I understand wanting to have “training camp arms”, but the timing of this move is rather puzzling. Why would a quarterback that was in literally zero demand be signed to a team just nine days before the draft?
Quite simply, it would appear that the Bucs are preparing for life after Glennon. With Jameis Winston cemented in as the starter and Ryan Griffin having spent all of 2015 on the active roster, the LeFevour move seems to indicate that all the smoke surrounding a potential trade of the 2013 third round pick was more than just talk.
