Doug Williams won’t be the only one inducted into the Buccaneer Ring of Honor this upcoming season. On Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that Williams and Mike Alstott will be honored for their contributions in a Bucs jersey.
At 6-foot-1 and 248 pounds, Alstott was a special player who could do just about everything. While speaking about the six-time Pro Bowler, Buccaneers co-chairman Bryan Glazer perfectly summed up his unique talent, saying he had the “size of a fullback, hands of a tight end, speed of a running back.” During his 11-year career with the Bucs, A-Train put that skill set to good use, finishing with the most touchdowns (71) in the franchise history.
