Buccaneers sign veteran long snapper Garrison Sanborn

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have addressed their massive, gaping hole at long snapper by signing veteran Garrison Sanborn, the team announced today.

The Bucs had a reliable long snapper in Andrew DePaola, but he tore his ACL in the final game of the 2016 season, also the last game of his expiring contract. He’s not exactly available right now.

Sanborn spent the past eight seasons with the Buffalo Bills, playing in all 128 regular season games the Bills played in that time. No injuries, no suspensions, no missed games — pretty reliable.
