The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed safety Kimario McFadden, waiving Lawrence Sidbury to make room for him, the team announced. McFadden was an undrafted free agent for the Atlanta Falcons in 2014 and spent time on the Bucs' practice squad in 2014, and was with the team for part of the offseason.
McFadden should fill in for Major Wright, D.J. Swearinger and Bradley McDougald, all of whom are struggling with injuries. The Bucs only have two healthy safeties in Chris Conte and Keith Tandy.
