The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed quarterback Dan LeFevour, the team announced. The former Central Michigan prospect entered the league as a sixth-round pick for the Chicago Bears in 2010 NFL draft, but never got on the field for them -- or any NFL team.
The Bucs know LeFevour through quarterback coach Mike Bajakian, who coached him in college. LeFevour was a dual-threat quarterback, with 47 rushing touchdowns and a ridiculous 15,853 career offensive yards. He spent the past few years playing in the CFL for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Montreal Alouettes.
