Buccaneers sign linebacker Adarius Glanton, waive Kimario McFadden

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed linebacker Adarius Glanton off the Carolina Panthers' practice squad. Glanton was an undrafted free agent out of Florida Atlantic last year, spending the past two seasons off and on the Panthers' active roster and practice squad. He's recorded nine tackles, one forced fumble and a tackle for loss in 10 games and one start.

The Bucs need an extra linebacker because Bruce Carter is in the concussion protocol, Kwon Alexander could see his suspension go into effect fairly soon, and Lavonte David was treated for an ankle injury after yesterday's game -- though Rick Stroud notes it's not believed to be serious.
