Buccaneers Sign Former Browns Defensive Tackle John Hughes

On Monday, the Buccaneers signed defensive tackle John Hughes. Hughes is a fifth year veteran from the University of Cincinnatti, having played in 52 games for the Cleveland Browns. Hughes was cut by the Browns on September 20th and then signed by the New England Patriots on September 26th. On October 1st he was cut once again.

Bucs are waiving WR Freddie Martino to make room for new DT John Hughes. Played last 2 games but had no catches. Could go to practice squad.
