The Buccaneers signed first-round offensive lineman Graham Barton to his rookie deal Thursday, the team announced.
Rookie contracts are largely pre-determined under the CBA, but nuanced language in guarantees and bonuses can often be hangups for first-round picks. No such problems occur here with Barton, who agreed to the standard 4-year deal (worth around $14 million total) with 5th year option. The No. 26 overall pick receives a $7 million signing bonus.
