The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are signing DL Mehdi Abdesmad to a contract on Monday, according to Aaron Wilson.
Abdesmad, 25, wound up signing on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Boston College back in May of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the Titans’ practice squad before eventually being called up in December.
The Titans waived Abdesmad last week.
In 2016, Abdesmad appeared in two games for Tennessee and recorded one tackle and no sacks.
