The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed defensive tackle A.J. Francis, waiving practice squad journeyman Davon Coleman to make room for him.
Francis was originally an undrafted free agent out of Maryland, signing with the Miami Dolphins in 2013. He's spent time on the New England Patriots' and Seattle Seahawks' practice squad, and the active roster of the Dolphins and Seahawks over the past three years. He's played in three career games, registering two tackles. The Bucs seem to like these former Seahawks defensive tackles, signing Clinton McDonald in 2014 and Tony McDaniel last year.
