The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Central Michigan corner Sean Bunting with their second round pick, again filling a need to help this team be competitive immediately.
Bunting was a three year starter at Central Michigan, amassing 104 tackles, nine interceptions, fifteen passes defensed, four forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
Bunting is obviously a smaller school guy, but at 6’1” 180lbs, he will stack up better against the big receivers of the NFC South. Arians said they wanted to “do something” about defending those big receivers earlier on Friday and that’s exactly what they did.
