The Tampa Bay Buccaneers re-signed restricted free agent QB Ryan Griffin, according to Greg Auman.
The original-round tender will cost the Buccaneers around $1.797 million for the 2017 season.
Griffin, 27, originally signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Tulane back in 20. New Orleans decided to make him one of their final roster cuts but signed him to their practice squad once he cleared waivers.
The Saints eventually promoted him to their active roster but waived him the following preseason. The Buccaneers claimed him off waivers back in 2015 and he signed a two-year, $1,100,000 with the team.
