The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed defensive end Lawrence Sidbury after placing defensive tackle Clinton McDonald on injured reserve. Both William Gholston and Jacquies Smith left Sunday's game with the Atlanta Falcons with an injury and it's not clear whether either of them can play on Sunday.
Sidbury played for the Bucs last year but he was cut after the preseason this year. The fact that he's still available suggests he won't be a difference maker, but the Bucs can use all the help they can get.
The team also announced that they have signed linebacker Quayshawn Nealy and defensive end Ronald Powell to its practice squad.
