The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that the team has signed running back Ronald Jones II, the first of Tampa Bay’s three second-round picks in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Jones (5-11, 208) was chosen 38th overall, out of USC. In three seasons with the Trojans, the McKinney, Texas, native rushed 591 times for 3,619 yards (6.1 avg.) and 39 touchdowns, while adding 32 catches for 301 yards and three touchdowns. In 2017, Jones rushed for 1,550 yards, the eighth-most in the NCAA and the eighth-most in a single season in USC history.
