The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have promoted linebacker Josh Keyes to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Greg Auman notes. The linebacker spent the offseason with the Bucs and has been on the practice squad the past couple of days. He should be a special teamer only, if he's even active tomorrow.
Keyes will fill the roster spot opened by releasing linebacker Orie Lemon earlier this week. The Bucs were likely keeping that roster spot open to fill a last-minute need based on who they expect to be able to go tomorrow.
